The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Corporate Services Coordinator to join our in-house Corporate Services team at our UK head offices in Marlow.  This is a fixed term contract for 9 months initially, to provide maternity cover.   You will be responsible for the man-management of 4 reports (2 remotely), managing several key contracts in cleaning, event management environment and waste, stationary, and health and safety, as well as corporate services operations in our Glasgow and Dublin offices.  There will be some travel required with this role, with trips to the Manchester, London, Glasgow and Dublin offices anticipated once a quarter.

Duties will include:

 

  • Purchase of goods and services from sourcing to delivery utilizing Facilities Purchasing procedures and adhering to SAS UKI Procurement Policy. 
  • Contract negotiation and management in relation to UKI Cleaning, Stationery, Waste, Utilities
  • Budget handling in accordance with predetermined budget allocation.
  • Supplier Appraisal & Monitoring to ensure efficiency of service and consistent quality of products/ services.
  • Drafting of Service Level Agreements to detail specific SAS requirements to the supplier as well as internal colleagues.
  • Responsible for Health & Safety training, and Administration duties (First Aid & Fire Marshall procedures).
  • Line management responsibility for Reception staff, and Regional CS Admins (Dublin & Glasgow), including performance monitoring, training, remote management, meetings and appraisals (4 x direct reports).
  • Responsibility for office management of the Dublin and Glasgow offices, supporting employees with Facilities related issues, working with senior local management on office moves/ fit-out’s/ maintenance issues etc.
  • Event planning for staff functions and assistance with Customer Event logistics.
  • Project Management, the research and initiation of a variety of projects through to completion to an agreed budget.
  • Provision of first class customer service to all internal colleagues and SAS visitors, ensuring that communication is maintained at all times and that goods and services are delivered in an efficient & timely manner.

 

As the successful candidate, you will have previous experience in a similar, multifaceted position, such as facilities, office management, or a PA position.  You will be experienced in man-management, and will have strong organisation and administrative skills and experience, and will have procurement experience.
