Engages in a role that directly supports consulting services operations in an effort to achieve the strategic goals of the Consulting Division. Leverages domain and industry expertise. Interacts with internal staff, clients/customers, Business Units, subcontractors, and applicable departments at SAS.


Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the project success and customer satisfaction by ensuring project admin tasks are done efficiently, accurately and on time. This includes:
    • Weekly and monthly timesheet management
    • Focal point for client PMO and partner PMO contacts.
    • Supervise and Assist project related staff and visitors with hotel and travel bookings
    • Focal point of Deal Approval Template power user and Regional deal approval logistics
    • Focal point for MSAs, SOWs, POs and 3rd party paperwork
    • Meet SLAs external and internal
    • Set up of internal projects as required
  2. Provide support to the project managers, consulting managers, and project accountant by:
    • Host, administering and note taking for the weekly project meetings to discuss resource needs, milestone/invoice status
    • Update RAVe (Resource mgmt. system) on fortnightly basis, coordinate with PMs and published the RAVe schedule weekly
    • Update Partner Profile Database (PPD) as required
    • Review and update RSS (Resource Sharing System) as required
    • Provide PSD specific inductions for new consultants, PMs, PSD managers
    • Supporting information sourced for sign off ease (SOWs have attached P/L, Work Orders have attached sell rate) (as needed)
    • Supervision on Client project set up correctly and timely
    • Monitor pipeline and backlog forecasting including Synapse and Orion
    • Proactively raise and address timesheet issues with Consultant’s and Project Managers and see to completion (as needed)
    • Proactively assist Project Managers and Consulting Mangers meet timesheet approval deadlines (weekly)
    • Provide support on an as needs basis to Project Finance – ie. chase debtors, liaise with PMs
    • Keep Consultants CVs updated twice a year (twice a year)
    • Proactively remind consultants to update Skills Database quarterly
    • Contact point for any finance/accounting queries
  3. Provide reporting and analysis support to PSD directors and other internal shareholders
    • Review of monthly financial transaction listings to PSD and take correction actions
    • Produce monthly accruals/unbilled input to Finance
    • Prepare monthly reconciliations between Accpac and Synapse
    • Produce routine reports from systems including Utilization/Realization, Project P&L, Forecasting
    • Produce monthly mgmt. summary report for PSD directors for highlighting issues, potential risks, trends and other items for mgmt. attention
    • Be the focal point to work with PSD director for yearly departmental budgeting
    • Being a member of regional DMO (Delivery Management Office) and assist in implementing, supporting and developing regional/global initiatives
  4. Power user of PSD operational systems
    • Be the local power user of various operational systems such as Synapse, Orion, RMS etc.
    • Monitor and drive for compliance with systems and operational procedures
    • Focal point for rolling out new systems and policy changes and new operational procedures
  5. Being a member of regional DMO and assist in implementing, supporting and developing regional/global initiatives
    • Attend monthly APAC DMO meetings and yearly face to face DMO meeting
    • Be part of the virtual team and share knowledge
    • Potential support other countries when needed


To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Typically requires five years relevant experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent knowledge and competence in related business functional area
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and program strategies
  • Proven time management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to give attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work effectively with customers, both external and internal
