Pre Sales Consultant (Insurance)
We are looking for a leading Pre-Sales consultant to work across a range of nominated Insurance accounts. Ideall attributes include enthusiastic, proactive individuals who own the customer account relationships working closely with client managers to drive towards shared goals of new business revenue, customer satisfaction, renewals protection, and customer and partner relationship building.
Own account relationships working closely with aligned sales client managers.
Provide input into account planning and take ownership of key account activities.
Comfortably and confidently position (and demonstrate) SAS and it's solutions to clients and prospects.
Help qualify sales opportunities and identify potential deal risks.
Maintain detailed knowledge of solutions, technologies, methodologies and procedures and keep up to date with industry/business sector developments.
Develop effective working relationships and internal networks with Sales, Marketing, Professional Services and Commercial & Legal colleagues.
Facilitate workshops/meetings with clients, SAS and/or industry personnel.
Help write and/or collate material for bid/tender responses and proposals.
Influence client organisations to consider the adoption of SAS solutions using experience and knowledge of their industry and business requirement.
Build compelling business cases on the value of deploying SAS within customer’s organisation.
Comfortable working at "C" level within customers and partners.
Customer facing bias and happy to own customer relationships.
Solid understanding of the Insurance sector.
Proven pre-sales experience resulting in new business software revenue.
Experience of selling into the Insurance sector ideal.
Strong communication (both verbal and written) skills.
Professional image and respected by clients, and colleagues with whom they can easily build rapport and demonstrate credibility.
Self-motivated and action oriented – prepared to develop plans and execute and monitor progress effectively.
Able to work independently as well as in direct and virtual teams.
Probing and questioning skills to uncover and understand customer challenges - understand business processes and associated business problems, and to articulate where and how SAS solutions can address.
Ability to understand and capture business and technical requirements – and to both communicate technical and business information to widely varied audiences.
Knowledge of strategic, conceptual and solution selling.
