    We have an exciting opportunity for the right Channel Account Manager to help shape SAS’ Channel Partner business in the UKI and be a key contributor to SAS’ new global vision to bring Channel Partnering to the forefront of our overall sales strategy.


    You will have the opportunity to identify and build relationships with leading Big Data and Analytics partners with industry and domain expertise across all industry verticals. You will also have the opportunity to work with SAS’ market leading Big Data and Analytics software in a unique working environment designed to help you be the best you can be.


    What are the key activities you will be involved in?

    • Identify Big Data and Analytics Partners who have Industry and Domain expertise in one or more industry verticals
    • Qualify whether they have the rights skills and credentials to be able to package and sell SAS based solutions to address a given Use Case for that Industry
    • Recruit these partners and gain Exec commitment to a GTM plan and/or work with existing SAS partners to put in place Industry/vertical market GTM around one or more Use Cases that are applicable to that vertical
    • Secure commitment from SAS’ Sales BU Leader to support this partner GTM in their Industry Vertical
    • Work with Pre-Sales and PSD to ensure the partner has the necessary skills to implement their Industry Use Case on SAS

    What are they key attributes we are looking for?

    • Awareness and understanding of the Big Data, Analytics and BI Partner landscape to be able to identify potential Partners for SAS
    • An understanding of the skills and expertise a potential partner needs to have to be able to build out Industry solutions on Analytics/BI technology
    • Ability to be able to ‘Sell’ the benefits of SAS as a potential franchise. Why the partner should invest in building out SAS credentials
    • Ability to develop and gain commitment from new and existing SAS Partners to execute a Go-to-market business plan with a partner
    • Able to influence and gain commitment from internal stakeholders, e.g. Sales BU lead to work with the partner in their vertical
    • Ability to mobilize an internal team to help support the partner develop the necessary level of technical competence

    This role is based from our UKI in Marlow or London and will require some travel to meet with our Channel Partner community.
