    Senior Pre-Sales Consultant, Data Management

     

    Due to our continued growth here at SAS, we are recruiting an experienced Senior Presales Data Management Consultant to strengthen our BENELUX pre-sales organization. In this role you will assist sales teams and management to maximize revenue opportunities and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction with our Data Management portfolio.

     

    You will be responsible for the delivery of workshops, presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts utilising the entire SAS portfolio of data management software alongside partnering technologies such as Hadoop.

     

    You will support our sales teams and partners, as well as marketing development efforts, by bringing domain, solution and technical expert credibility directly to ongoing sales cycles.

      

    Skills and Experience

     

    To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

    • Proven expertise in Data Management: for example, Data Warehousing, Data Quality, Data Governance, Hadoop, Event Stream Processing, Data Vaults, RDBMS
    • Consulting skills (e.g. previous experience of working in a position as a Solutions Architect or Consultant would be highly beneficial)
    • SAS (or similar) technical skills
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Sales-driven, business acumen
    • Excellent understanding of the Data Management Marketplace
    • Fluent in French, Dutch and English
    • Strong communication and team working skills
    • Ability to travel at times to both Luxemburg and the Netherlands (home office being Belgium / Tervuren)
