We are currently seeking a Technical Trainer / Education Consultant to design and deliver analytics and SAS courses to our customer base, both here in Finland, and across the rest of the Nordic region.


Based from our offices in Helsinki, you will provide training and training consultancy to our clients around SAS Programming, Data Science, Analytics, and SAS products. 


The role entails:


  • Teaching large and small groups
  • Tailoring our standard course material to our customers’ needs
  • Delivering training in our offices in Espoor (80% of the time), but also going out to customer sites to deliver training, across Finland, and possibly Denmark, Sweden and Norway (anticipated travel 2-3 days per month). 
  • Sometimes you will be at customers’ sites on small client projects around SAS programming, SAS solutions as required.
  • Work closely with our customers to assess their users’ current abilities and to determine training needs and advising them on appropriate solutions
  • Part of your role will be to reach out to former key customers to understand and uncover SAS training needs
  • You will work with SAS’s sales and the Engagement Teams to continuously monitor and develop of training projects


As the successful candidate you will demonstrate:

  • A background in training or teaching, possibly at a university, school, or within a consultancy.
  • Experience of teaching Information Technology and Software either on its own or possibly as part of another course.
  • Fluent language skills in Finnish and English, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge in SAS or open source technology (R or Python) would be an advantage
  • You must have a passion for teaching, coaching and for sharing knowledge with others.
  • You will be positive, outgoing and be able to work with our customers to discuss their training needs and possible training plans.
  • A strong analytical mind, and a positive outlook, with a desire to solve customer problems.
  • A willingness and ability to travel in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Norway and Finland to some degree).
