SAS is looking for a Senior Technical Learning & Development Specialist to join our EMEA Organisational Effectiveness & Development Team. You will be responsible for designing, conducting and implementing global learning and development solutions for technical internal audiences within SAS, to increase employee capabilities, strengthen leadership, and improve organisational effectiveness across the South EMEA region. This role can be based from any SAS location across the SEMEA region, and travel is anticipated 40% of the time.
Working closely with management and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for driving the life cycle for learning and development offerings within the business, from initiation through to delivery for employees across the region. This is a technical enablement role with a focus primarily on technical employees in departments such as Professional Services and Technical Support. Primary responsibilities will include:
As the successful candidate, you will have a strong technical background with a great understanding of SAS technology and professional services within SAS. You will have strong English language and presentation capabilities, and any previous training experience would be a benefit but is not essential. You will have experience of full life-cycle of delivery either I a position of managing technical staff, or from an L&D perspective, and be experienced in working with technical employees with an understanding of their development requirements from both a technical and professional perspective.
