  • Company Overview

    • Design and develop SAS macros and stored processes using SAS programming language and SAS tools. Includes programming for sas layer integration with web application as well.
    • Build expertise in technology and business domain
    • Provide technical support to the field consultants and customers and possess the qualities to communicate effectively with them
    • Participate in IP analysis and requirements study
    • Assess the impact of revised regulations on existing solution
    • Conduct exploration activities to build SAS Intellectual Property in the assigned area of work. Research and implement new feautures from the Regulatory risk space in the solution
    • Participate in story detailing and acceptance criteria definition of product features
    • Contribute to design, development, unit testing, integration testing and documentation of product features
    • Build expertize in Banking Risk domain, SAS Technology stack and Agile product development
    • Participate in data warehousing and business intelligence architecture design

    • SAS/Base (data step and SQL based programming), SAS Macros
    • Risk Dimensions, High Performance Risk
    • SAS Development Environment
    • SAS DI Studio and BI tools (Optional)
    • SAS IRM (Infrastucture for Risk Management)
    • SAS RFW (Risk and Finanace Workbench)
    • SAS MIP (Model Implementation Platform)

    Requirement

    Mandatory:

    • 4-6 years expertise in Base SAS, SAS Macros and SAS Stored Processes programming using tools like Enterprise Guide
    • Hands on expertize of SQL concepts
    • Exposure to end-to-end project lifecycle of DW/BI projects
    • Good understanding of dimensional modelling
    • Knowledge of performance tuning techniques on SAS
    • Aptitude for professional software development as demonstrated by programming experience

    Behavioral:

    • Actively seeks to update own knowledge base and apply new concepts to work
    • Ability to evaluate options, present the recommendations, seeks feedback actively
    • Ability to work collaboratively with others to help achieve goals

    Optional:

    • Knowledge of risk management in financial institutions
    • Exposure to SAS Risk Dimensions (Optional)

    Domain skills

    • Basic understanding of financial instruments/products and financial markets
    • Working knowledge of Banking operations
    • Exposure to Risk Management domain is highly preferred (alternate keywords to for search – Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Basel III, Capital Calculations, Stress Testing)
    • Banking and/or Risk domain background
