  • Company Overview

    As a Senior Controller you will be part of the Belgium/Luxembourg Finance team & Western European Controlling department and reporting towards the BeNeLux Finance Director. You will work on complex projects or business issues, that require strong functional knowledge, to support SAS regional or global finance.


    Your responsibilities:

    For the Belux legal entity:

    • Business for Partner Local Professional Service Division (PSD), Sales Division on request & others.
    • Drive action directly to business (provoke and challenge) or own team via management reporting, analysis and business partnering.
    • Operation of effective financial controls; support finance operations in making sure France and Belux come to an SLA and quality. Control.
    • Budget Management of Sales Division & Others where needed.


    For Western Europe:

    • Business Partner for Local PSD with Western Europe (FR, BE, NL & Lux), provide guidance and clarifications and potentially suggest alternative courses of action
    • “One Team” exists within Western Europe Finance – Community, Knowledge, Support & Synergy.
    • Initiate, owns & supports process improvements to ensure operational efficiency;



    Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor or master degree in Business Administration Accounting/Finance or related business background (Bachelor mandatory)
    • 8+ years of functional experience, preferably in a large corporate environment ( 2-3+ years of Audit experience; 3-6+ years of Controlling experience)
    • Fluent in Dutch, French and English
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong PC skills.
    • Ability to understand and interpret financial/performance data.
    • In depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
    • Ability to interact with management and customers normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company; often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team
    • Willingness to travel 10-15%
