    Reporting to the Finance Director for Middle East & Eastern Europe (MEEE) we are looking for an experienced, technically and commercially strong Senior Finance Manager. This role will lead all aspects of Finance delivery in Poland, provide proactive commercial business partnering & decision support to local country & wider regional business leadership and, as part of the MEEE Region Finance Leadership team play an active role in developing and supporting the services provided by the function region-wide




    • Responsible for the effective management & discharge of all services and deliverables from Finance in country including but not limited to: statutory/legal reporting & audit, group and local management reporting, policy development & compliance, internal controls, taxation, budgeting & forecasting, cash collection & management, ledger management & the effective implementation & delivery of financial systems & processes
    • Recruits, motivates, develops & mentors all Finance staff, optimises team processes & structure and ensures continuity of operations
    • Proactively monitors and manages all aspects of financial and commercial business performance. Develops strong relationships with and delivers effective management information, analysis, insight and support to all functional leaders to drive growth, improve ROI and manage risk
    • Actively works with the wider business to support the discharge of effective operations – leads & supports cross functional initiatives, supports commercial software deal structuring and supplier engagements
    • Builds & maintains effective relationships with internal & external professional advisors (i.e. tax, legal, audit, banks etc) to transact complex business on behalf of the company



    • Works closely with the MEEE Finance Director to support the development of the regional Finance organization and its delivery to business leadership, providing on a regional level: 
    • Actionable recommendations for improvements in Finance services and delivery
    • Regular and ad hoc information, analysis and insight on business performance, risks & opportunities as required
    • Business Partnering services to designated regional business leaders
    • Leadership and/or support for Finance led and supported projects and initiatives for the region as required
    • Deputises for the MEEE Finance Director on calls and/or meetings as required

    • Provide active support for Corporate or EMEA Finance projects and initiatives

    • University degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics and/or a recognised Professional Accountancy Qualification (i.e. chartered or certified accountant)
    • 10 years + financial experience in a commercial environment, at least 5 of which in a financial management role
    • Has worked effectively in a multinational organization
    • Demonstrated in-depth functional expertise across tax, audit, IT, financial analysis & reporting, legal, business & operational areas
    • Commercial business partnering experience supporting senior business leadership locally and remotely
    • Proven project management and coordination experience
    • Strong software experience, including Microsoft Office suite, general ledger packages, financial reporting tools, data analysis software and data management tools
    • Knowledge and experience of local and US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), local statutory differences and tax implications of both
    • Has worked with commercial legal contracts and able to highlight issues in terms
    • Experience working within the software industry would be an advantage

    • Willing & able to travel internationally for business (estimated not > 10%)
