    Pre-sales Consultants at SAS Institute understand the challenges of our customers in the domain of digital transformation and customer intelligence more general. They have the ability to address those challenges with our solutions and create highly engaging demos for our full suite of Customer Intelligence products, including our Marketing Cloud solution, Marketing Automation and Real-Time Decision Management solutions.

     

    This position requires some hands-on work with the product as well as the delivery of compelling presentations to clients and prospects. Ideally, your home basis is Belgium or Paris. However, we do request travel within Europe of 60%.

     

    As a pre-sales consultant you would partner with the sales team, owning all advisory and technical activities required throughout the sales cycle. You will be working with some of the world’s biggest brands.

     

     

    In this role, you will:

     

    • Build customer relationships with target accounts
    • Plan sales campaigns in conjunction with account executives and lead efforts to ensure the delivery of all required resources
    • Be partnering with multiple account executives across key target accounts
    • Propose solutions to meet clients’ needs and serve as the industry expert to prospective clients
    • Create and deliver world class demonstrations and meet the scope and functionality of the solution
    • Collaborate with product managers, software developers, analysts, business officers, and other groups ensuring successful execution of the sales strategy

    The successful candidate will have the following:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
    • Experience in presales for larger longer sales cycle deals
    • Strong skills creating and delivering compelling demonstrations to Fortune 500 Companies
    • Knowledge and experience working with Enterprise Software applications (IBM, Pega, Adobe, Salesfor would be an advantage)
    • Specific industry experience in FS and Insurance, Telco, Retail or Cross-vertical industries.
    • Ability to speak different languages fluently such as English, Dutch and French. German is an advantage.
    • Ability to proactively develop customer relationships
