    As a Solution Architect you will provide advisory services to new and existing SAS customers.  Additionally, this position will provide support to internal groups such as sales and product management.  Solutions Architects are expected to have business domain experience as well as broad technical experience and should excel at solving business problems by applying technology.  You will be expected to provide implementation and pre-sales support for the SAS Fraud and Security Intelligence technologies. You will be expected to quickly come up to speed on new technologies and stay abreast as to recent trends in the compliance and fraud space.

     

    Your responsibilities will also include:

     

    • Involvement in various phases of the implementation lifecycle including requirements, architecture/design, installation, development, testing and/or training
    • Facilitating workshops to gather requirements and assess gaps in requirements or level of detail required to properly scope and plan implementations
    • Assisting in scoping and defining work efforts, resource plans, and estimating cost on phases/projects
    • Preparing and presenting materials for site visits, project work, and training services.
    • Implementing prototypes/demos for use in sales situations and site visits
    • Developing and maintaining internal applications, intellectual property and tools

    Essential Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or another quantitative field
    • Proven background in technical consulting, applications development and/or customer support (SME or Expert Level prefered)
    • Demonstrated experience within the compliance or fraud business domain
    • Travel as business requirements dictate (Typically 50%)
        

    Additional

    • Must have a strong desire to succeed and excel at solving complex problems
    • Ability to lead teams of consultants and participate in project management activities
    • Desire to present at conferences and build relationships in the compliance community
    • Excellent written and oral communication, problem solving and time management skills

     

    Preferences

    • Experience delivering SAS AML or similar enterprise technologies
    • Experience within financial services or public sector related to compliance and/or fraud
    • Experience working in a financial intelligence unit or supporting BSA/AML compliance systems
