    SAS is looking to hire an Inside Sales Manager for the Italian Market in Dublin

     

    SAS EMEA centre in Dublin is looking to hire a strong Sales Manager to support & lead a group of successful Inside Sales Representatives. We wish to recruit an experienced Manager with fluency in Italian (& English essential). The successful person should have a minimum 5+years people management experience with ability to demonstrate the real 'value add' they can bring. We are looking to hire an energetic, people leader who can motivate, inspire & drive maximum revenue results. We are looking for a Manager who enjoys & enables their team to top performance. Your team will be selling into specific verticals across Italy both SMB & Enterprise. For the right Manger, this is a fantastic opportunity to impact the business & excel in your region. Position reports to the EMEA Sales Director.

     

    We are interested in talking to people who have the following skills:

    • Experienced Sales Managers, 5+years working in a sales related revenue generating role. Fluent in Italian & English (Essential)
    • Previous experience of managing multi-lingual sales teams with remit across multiple territories, including managing through Managers 
    • Experience in dealing with County Sales & Marketing Managers with regards to reporting, setting targets, sales & marketing activities, etc.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage, support & oversee a Team of Inside Sales Representatives on the Italian Market 
    • Achieve defined sales team financial objectives relating to Total Software Revenue (TSR) and Lead generation.
    • Recruit, develop motivate & retain a professional high performing happy sales team
    • Deliver defined Sales Team, Customer, Learning & Growth objectives as required by SAS Corporate Plan 
    • Ensure that SAS core values & best practice adopted
    • Create, review, maintain & implement an integrated territory plan for each sales team member that is aligned to the sales plan within each country.
    • Monitor and report to the Sales Director on Sector and individual sales pipeline in accordance with adopted solution selling practices

    • Ensure team keep all sales systems accurate & updated regularly in conjunction with Country Sales & Marketing Managers 
    • Support team at all times to ensure success - Pipeline, Business Development, Sales etc. 
    • Supplement central SAS marketing activities with targeted marketing programs which help to build pipeline
    • Deliver accurate monthly sales forecasting 
    • Consistent messaging and awareness of the key SAS Industry solutions
    • Develop and maintain the sector pipeline above agreed minimum by setting standards and overseeing lead generation and prospecting
    • Ensure sales team are able to achieve the highest professional standards in the following key aspects of the sales cycle; planning, prospecting, need development and vision processing, qualification, control, closing, negotiating, reference development.
    • Conduct interviews & be in integral part of the hiring process.
    • Engage with HR on all matters related to team as required

    Development:

    • Provide learning opportunities
    • Encourage training and development
    • Provide feedback, coaching, support and advice, particularly in the supported sales methodologies i.e. Solution Selling, TAS, Value Creation
    • Manage performance through appropriate reviews
    • Monitor and manage activity levels
    • Ensure new staff can become productive rapidly 

    Motivation:

    • Establish & support motivational needs of individuals, lead by example.

     Education:

    • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or quantitative field

     Experience:

    • 5-6 years people management experience essential in a sales environment. Ideally with team size of 7/10.
    • Experience in technical sales, marketing, data processing and technology. Background in analytics preferred.
    • Strong successful business leader with proven ability to influence & impact the business
