    We are currently seeking a Senior Account Executive who will report in to the Sales Manager for Public in Denmark

    The Public Industry is undergoing a huge transformation, around using technology as an enabler to provide even better Citizen Service and increased welfare, but without increasing the tax burden. SAS Institute is perfectly positioned to help our customers cope with this transformation by allowing them to capture the full value which is hidden in their data. Customers are rapidly embracing analytics as a core strategic competency and when you join us, you will help customers on a transformational journey that will bring immense value.

     

    In this role you will be working with high-profile clients where you will become the subject matter expert through the entire sales process of business-critical analytical solutions. You are the commercial driver and relationship manager towards SAS’ customers. You will have responsibility for SAS Institute’s value proposition with your customers, managing strategic and tactical governance, co-operating closely with your customers to improve and optimize current business as well as identifying and prioritizing new opportunities.

     

    Desired Skills

    We are currently looking for individuals who have significantly demonstrated experience within Sales and Relationship Management. Previous experience within the Public Industry, will be beneficial to give you a flying start with us. Ideal applicants will be enthusiastic about helping our customers cope with demanding challenges and turn them into mutually rewarding opportunities. You must be highly motivated, a self-starter, articulate and able to contribute to the transformation of projects in the Public Industry.

     

    Knowledge & Experience: 

    • Experienced within Sales and Relation Management. Comfortable to take a clear leadership role throughout the complex sales cycle, from establishing a relationship and discovering an opportunity, via proving value and negotiating business terms, all the way through to delivering to the promise we give our customers
    • Skilled at understanding people’s needs and priorities. Eager to help people reach their goals while also confident enough to challenge when required
    • Knowledge of the Public Industry and an understanding of challenges and problems to be expected in the digital transformation of the industry is a big advantage. However, the right kind of sales driver will succeed without expertise, because we have subject matter experts to help
    • You will benefit from having worked in the software industry. To become successful, you should have an insight into the mechanics of how organizations can get the best out of their IT solutions. An understanding of change management and how complex projects are procured, including implementation and delivery would be extremely beneficial
    • You must be a high caliber sales executive who can build trust and rapport
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills combining Danish and English
