    AI SPECIALIST to lead the PRESALES activities 


    We are looking for a talented individual to join our Customer Advisory team. The role brings together disciplines across data engineering, AI & machine learning, decision science and cloud/platform technologies and will help drive the next phase of SAS growth within Danish and Nordic government. We are a team that is passionate about analytics and technology, but are equally curious about helping to make government more effective and efficient. Our mission is to help public sector organisations apply data and analytics in innovative ways that help protect and improve the lives of our citizens. 


    The successful candidate will combine skills across data, analytics and technology with a consulting mindset, domain best practice and excellent communication. Working across central government in a highly customer facing capacity you will build trusted relationships with customers, partners and prospects, initially helping them understand how SAS will add value to their organisation through the application of analytics, but also supporting the value delivery. 


    Key Responsibilities 


    • Provide technical and pre-sales leadership to new business opportunities in data science/advanced analytics, engaging with relevant stakeholders at customer site  
    • Deliver customized and strategic presentations outlining and demonstrating the proposed software functional capabilities, competitive advantages and business benefits, mainly within data science/advanced analytics 
    • Work closely with account executives and broader account team to provide advise on functional and technical aspects of proposed software solution and set proper expectations to ensure customer satisfaction. 
    • Provides thought-leadership within SAS’ capabilities in data science/advanced analytics, demonstrating those in social media, public events, news media and customer meetings 


    Candidate Requirements 

    • 5-10 years of experience in customer-facing roles in the area of data science/advanced analytics, preferably with a focus on software 
    • In-depth knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, for instance predictive analytics, text analytics, machine learning, forecasting or artificial intelligence 
    • Experience and interest in being hands-on in customer-facing situations: building and delivering software demonstrations, gathering requirements and running discovery sessions 
    • Experience in SAS or open source software (R, python, Spark) 
    • Degree in a technical or numerate subject, especially mathematics, statistics, physics or computer science. 
    • Fluent in writing and speaking Danish and good level of English 



    This role is based out of one of our Danish offices in Copenhagen or Aarhus.
