What you’ll do

We are currently seeking a Global Account Manager - Pharmaceutical. This role is based in our Paris office.

 

In this role you will be working with a key parmaceutical account. You will lead, drive and orchestrate the entire sales process.  You are the commercial driver and relationship manager towards the customer. You will have the full responsibility for SAS Institute’s value proposition at this customer, managing strategic and tactical governance, co-operating closely with key stakeholders to improve and optimize current business as well as identifying and prioritizing new opportunities.

Most important attributes are:

  • Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry and an understanding of challenges and problems to be expected in the digital transformation is a big advantage.
  • Skilled at understanding people’s needs and priorities. Eager to help people reach their goals while also confident enough to challenge when required.
  • You will benefit from having worked in the software industry. To become successful, you should have an insight into the mechanics of how organizations can get the best out of their IT solutions. An understanding of change management and how complex projects are procured, including implementation and delivery would be extremely beneficial.
  • You must be highly motivated, a self-starter, articulate and able to contribute to transformation projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills combining French and English.
  • You must be a high caliber sales executive who can build trust and rapport and who is able to collaborate with partners and resources across the SAS organization.
  • Great capacity to summarize, abstract, digest complex information and deliver concise messages
  • Ability to work with high potential people and keep pace with virtual teams across different opportunities
