What you’ll do

 

SAS succeeds by making a difference to its customers’ businesses. It’s the role of the Business Value team to connect the capabilities SAS provides with the strategic objectives of needs of our biggest customers across EMEA: in other words to articulate the difference SAS makes in the language of our customers’ business.

 

We are looking to appoint high calibre Business Value Consultant to join the team : we need people who can help drive the team to the next level of performance, based on a level of proficiency, experience and potential demonstrated in Consulting, Pre-Sales and/or Change Management.

 

You will:

 

Join the successful existing members of the SAS EMEA Business Value Team in helping Customers and Sales teams understand the difference SAS solutions can make and articulating these clearly in a way that drives adoption of SAS technology.

  • Deliver Business Value Services to customers based on SAS Value Propositions
  • Manage the pipeline of Business Value activities in a particular Industry/Region as agreed
  • Play an active Role in account planning for Key Global and Regional Accounts
  • Work closely with the Business Value Analyst team to develop high-quality Customer and Industry research for Sales Teams
  • Work with the rest of the Business Value team to develop templates and other re-usable assets from all customer engagements
  • Provide thought leadership on Business Value creation to customers, SAS Sales and Customer Advisory teams

 

What we’re looking for

  • Able and comfortable to present at a senior level within customers and partners
  • Strong consulting, presentation and program management skills.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Expertise in identifying and presenting business value and process improvement for customers, with real world experience of identifying the case for change, route to value and business cases
  • Able to lead and facilitate strategy, discovery & solution interviews and workshops
  • Strategic thinking, with evidence of a customer-focused and driven approach.
  • Understanding of the importance of change management

The role will be office-based with travel across the SAS customer base: this will be focussed in UK and Ireland but will include working with customers across the EMEA region as required
