What you’ll do

 

We’re looking for a curious Digital Marketer to join a relentlessly creative team! 

 

Responsible for planning, coordinating and executing digital strategy within SAS and leading a team of great digital minds.

 

Role will include managing and executing a wide variety of digital projects (the full digital mix across the entire buyer journey from awareness and acquisition through to retention), delivering strategic guidance to internal stakeholders, and collaborating with many departments across the company to help them leverage digital channels to meet company goals. The candidate will have a growth mindset, be data-driven, have a deep and broad understanding of the full digital marketing mix, and will have specialist knowledge in specific digital acquisition tactics/channels, like programmatic advertising, paid search and paid social.

 

The scope of responsibility is Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA) Region and involves working in and contributing to a global marketing organisation. Job based in Turkey and reports into Regional Marketing Director, CEMEA Region.

 

You will:

 

  • Delivers digital services ranging from consultation to execution, acting as a digital marketing advisor and lead for key stakeholders including Field Marketing and Sales.
  • Lead efforts to drive awareness, engagement and revenue for the CEMEA market through digital marketing
  • Supporting the acquisition efforts from our EMEA digital campaigns via Programmatic Advertising, Paid Social and Paid Search (includes mayor lead generation channels; Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, Bing, Content Syndication, Google DV360, etc.)
  • Takes ownership and responsibility for the performance of web/landing pages and digital campaign elements, driving continuous optimisation – through a number of digital tactics, ranging from SEO optimization efforts, running highly targeted campaigns towards specific accounts and target audiences, and supporting the digital campaigns promoting major local activities (e.g. events, webinars, etc.).
  • Enhances the SAS digital paid, owned, earned media and SAS’ web properties and channels by understanding the business objectives and delivering digital guidance and expertise based on a broad understanding of the full digital marketing mix.
  • Participates on cross-functional/geography teams with the goal of ensuring consistency, accuracy, quality, and globalization of sales and marketing initiatives across major geographies.
  • Collaborates with other marketing staff, including global counterparts, to integrate and complement marketing strategies and share best practices across multiple channels.
  • Develops supporting documentation and contributes to building digital understanding and knowledge across organisation.
  • Analyses data to validate current strategy and effectively makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Optimizes conversion rates and campaign performance against KPIs (key performance indicators).
  • Identifies changes and trends in digital marketing and recommends appropriate strategies that will ultimately maximize company profit.
  • Stays abreast of related industry trends and technologies by doing online research, evaluating other 3rd party websites, and attending professional conferences.

What we’re looking for

  • Min 8 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Min 2 years of leadership experience
  • Digital agency experience is a plus
  • Having worked in a matrix organization is a plus

Other knowledge, skills, and abilities

 

  • Working business knowledge of sales and marketing concepts/processes related to area of assignment
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing concepts/ functions and software tools (Word, PowerPoint, HTML, Adobe products (AEM), and/or SharePoint, web content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager, etc.)
  • Google Analytics Certified
  • Speak English perfectly, additional languages are a plus
  • Agility in understanding new technology, app, platforms and integrating them in existing campaigns/processes
  • Additional plus points:
    • Knows Adobe Experience Manager (AEM certified)
    • Building reports on DataStudio or SAS Visual Analytics or SAS Viya
    • Experience with SEO tools like SEM Rush
    • Experience with Datorama is a plus
    • Experience with Google DV360
    • Can set-up campaigns with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Facebook Business Manager
