What you’ll do

We’re looking for a Sales Account Executive who will maximize revenue and activate usage of our solutions by actively seeking out opportunities and positioning SAS Marketing Automation solutions, the product that helps our clients to transform customer behaviour into meaningful interactions.

 

You will:

  • Build trusted relationships with pre-sales teams and client accounts, using your domain and/or business/industry expertise to increase SAS’ credibility, communicate our value propositions in sales situations that advance the sales of software.
  • Ensure that proper expectations are set to ensure customer satisfaction. This may involve the enablement of presentations and compelling software demonstrations as appropriate to the client and situation.
  • Strategize with pre-sales team on objectives for customer meetings, understanding how this opportunity relates to overall sales plan and provide strategic leadership throughout sales opportunities.
  • Clearly articulate the breadth and value of SAS’ Digital Marketing Solutions, including how the company differentiates from competitors, and identifying opportunities to win more business.
  • Lead the response to tender requests, crafting thorough and compelling answers and proposals that effectively differentiate our solutions from our competitors’.
  • Work with product marketing, product management, pre-sales and R&D groups to validate market driven sales approaches and lead strategic initiatives to ensure customer and market direction input is reflected in ongoing releases.
  • Contribute to the design and production of sales, pre-sales and marketing materials.
  • Proactively drive customer retention efforts.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience working as a sales executive is preferred.
  • Previous presales experience will be taken into consideration.
  • Experience with Digital Marketing solutions like: Email marketing, Marketing Automation, Tag Management, Customer Data Platform, Campaign Management, Analytics.
  • Technical understanding of complex IT environments.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams is a must.
