SAS Institute is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Nordic Professional Services Division.  Based in one of our Scandinavian Offices, you will be responsible for delivering high-value, customer centric projects within SAS enterprise solutions for a variety of customers across the region.

When you join the SAS Institute Nordic Professional Services Division, you become part of a highly skilled and ambitious team of 150 talented consultants and Engagement Managers where we in our cross-Nordic teams solve critical business analytics challenges and provide superior client services for the largest local and international companies and public organizations across Scandinavia. You will lead teams of consultants to deliver high quality, timely, profitable and valuable outcomes which are successful for both SAS and the customer.

What you’ll do

As a Project Manager at SAS you are relentless in ensuring high quality deliveries. You ensure that your project deliver most costumer value within the given scope, time and cost to meet our customer expectations.

You will:

• Support our sales organisation and engagement managers when engaging with customers in defining new deliveries.
• Act as the primary Professional Services delivery partner for customers through-out the project; focused on building and developing strong relationship, resolving issues and influencing future business by playing key role in setting a vision to the customer.
• Define statements of work and project charters, risk and mitigation assessments, plans/schedules, project resourcing and status reporting.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders and apply strong governance processes, appropriate expectation management, robust change management principles and implemented clear communication plans.
• Motivate the team through various and best suitable leadership stiles.
• Own and manage either a single major or portfolio of differing projects across one or more accounts, countries and industry sectors.
• Take full ownership of the success of your projects, delivering solutions on time, within budget and in accordance with customers’ requirements for quality and functionality.
• Design and facilitate internal and external workshops and meetings for optimized outcome.
• Take part of our development of our Nordic project management organisation.

We expect that you:

• Have a IT consulting background with minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in implementing analytic solutions in different companies and different Project Management methodologies.
• Gets motivated as project manager for both smaller projects as well as big and complex projects.
• Have great and proven people management skills and superior stakeholder management skills
• Have great experience in running projects with distributed teams both from own, partner organisations and customer organization with several different nationalities.
• Are able to run projects in all Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway Finland and Denmark).
