What you’ll do

 

We’re looking for a world-class sales professional to join our high-performing Enterprise Banking sales team. Banking is our largest industry sector; we help our clients leverage data and AI to manage risk, reduce fraud and make smarter, quicker decisions. You will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of your customers, their strategies and business goals to become a trusted advisor in data and analytics
  • Build enduring and mutually beneficial relationships at all levels within your customer, based upon driving business value and successful outcomes
  • Develop multi-year account plans and strategies in collaboration with the customer considering the existing SAS user communities and where our analytics platform and industry solutions could bring most value
  • Identify new opportunities which create value for the client, and grow SAS usage and revenues
  • Manage complex opportunities across multiple stakeholders through qualification, building a business case and leading commercial negotiations to ultimately close business and oversee successful outcomes for the customer
  • Lead a virtual team of colleagues from areas including Customer Advisory, Professional Services, Business Value and Customer Success, as well as working with SAS partners
  • Contribute to UK Banking go-to-market strategies using your industry and client knowledge
  • Professionally manage your pipeline and forecast to correctly set expectations
  • Develop a understanding of company pricing, licensing procedures and approvals

What we’re looking for

  • A successful track record in enterprise sales of complex technology solutions
  • Strong understanding and experience of the banking industry
  • Strong commercial awareness and able to engage both business and technology communities across your accounts and identify appropriate opportunities
  • Experience of leading internal teams across marketing, sales, pre-sales, delivery and partner organisations to deliver a range of solutions which can be complex solutions with global reach
  • Experience of our core solution areas including analytics platforms, data management and visualisation to support Digital, Marketing, Fraud and Risk business challenges
  • Able to develop clear long-term account plans and strategies that inform and lead the wider SAS teams to deliver value to our customers and to use your resources in the most efficient manner
  • An ability to lead opportunities with complex sales cycles that vary from 3 - 18 months

  • Fully utilize SAS account planning process and tools
