What you’ll do

As as an Account Executive for Education / Learning services you will be responsible for direct sales of training products and services to prospective and current accounts. You will work hand in hand with the French Sales Executives (Software & consulting sales teams) and support each other when needed. Your focus will be across the French territory.

 

As an Account Executive Education Services you will report to the Head of Education in SAS France. The French education team consists of 10 colleagues (sales, training and coordinators) and the role can be based in our La Défense (92) or Grégy (77) office.

 

You will:

  • Sell training products and solutions to current and prospective customers; work with other education personnel to position and leverage sales opportunities to acquire, grow and retain customers within assigned territory.
  • Assisting customers in assessing their users´ current abilities and training needs
  • Developing new sales and marketing strategies related to training products and services
  •  Work closely with new and existing customers, Software Sales Account Executives, Customer Success managers and /or Consulting to determine customer training needs and advise on appropriate solutions. 
  • Implement all aspects of territory and account management and development; Identify opportunities with high “close” potential, qualify and forecasts timeframes to close business. Manage your territory, opportunities and forecasting using SAS’s global sales system. 
  • Proactively craft and propose solutions that clarify how SAS training offerings can bring business value and address each customer’s critical business challenges. Assist customers in assessing their Talent Development needs.
  • Preparing standard and non-standard quotations and proposal information as needed; working with other departments to create and finalize contracts 

 

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or related to the Training business.
  • Experience in the sales, marketing, or technical support of computer software solutions (including related training products and services), computer hardware, or telecommunications software/hardware. Specific industry related experience may be considered in combination with the above requirements. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Verbal and written fluency in English and French.  

 

Other knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Knowledge of sales techniques; knowledge of hardware and/or software acquisitions cycles and buying influences.  
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and develop a sales plan. 
  • Ability to communicate technical and business concepts and relate them to SAS applications and user needs.
