About the job

We’re looking for a  CI Technical Architect to join our Professional Services organization in Germany. You will play a leading role in delivering technical expertise for SAS analytics platforms and  CI solutions into the broader architecture and strategy of our Banking, Insurances and Retail customers. This role implies understanding the CI SAS portfolio of technology, with emphasis on SAS Viya, and its integration and installation methods, alongside other technologies.

As a Technical Architect, you will

Bridge the gap between the business and technology, relating business requirements to technical capabilities and solutions to business value, in the space of Data, Advanced Analytics, and Industry Solutions.

Take the lead to advise our customers on how to set up the processes and usage of the SAS Software.

Prepare the client-organization for the implementation phase and beyond including involvement of partners.

Help to set up a culture mindful of technology and create a balance between short term and long-term strategies.

Work closely with our customers, colleagues from Consulting and Customer Advisory and Partners to realize optimal customer satisfaction and business profit.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent.

Significant experience in business consulting.

Ability to effectively articulate their thoughts and translate technical jargon into client-friendly language.

Solid understanding of Customer Intelligence market trends and familiarity with concepts such as: Generative Intelligence, Marketing Automation, Customer Data Platform, AI

Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes.

Programming skills with one or more modern languages (scripted or compiled) – e.g. KSH, Python, Perl, C, C++, Java, JavaScript.

Ability to work independently but also proactively with others for the purpose of cross-training and knowledge transfer as part of SAS one-team.

Able to work against deadlines, stress tolerant, and flexible.

May travel as business requirements dictate at management discretion.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Fluency in German and English.
