About the job  

SAS France is looking for a Sales Manager whose mission will be as follow: being accountable for the Public market and securing our existing installed base (ERR), redefining the GTM to address that industry more dynamically and developing a new sales team to focus on the development of strategic accounts.

About the team

In this role, you will be reporting to the newly appointed country manager, Grégoire Ferreri. Grégoire has joined SAS in 2015 and has been leading the Strategic Accounts and Global accounts for the past 3 years before his promotion as country lead. His motto is “agility, creativity and fast pace”. Indeed, Grégoire is curious and a life-long learner. On his spare time, Grégoire enjoys cooking for his friend and family and playing golf.

 

As a Sales Manager Public, you will  

  • Be responsible for the achievement of total software revenue target and the management of business objectives.
  • Plan and implement growth plans for software, consulting services, and education services.
  • Take care of direct management of sales and sales support activities for staff members to implement growth plans and sales activities.
  • Develop and implement marketing, sales, and business development plans to exceed target levels.
  • Generate new business through strategic-based selling and managing relationships with key customers.
  • Be responsible for communication with sales management team to coordinate account strategies.
  • Be responsible for hiring, directing and evaluating staff.
  • Work in conjunction with the Strategic Pricing Group to negotiate contracts and bids.
  • Be responsible for timely and accurate forecasting (PTG) of software, consulting services, and education services, with a -5/+5 margin error.

 

Required qualifications

  • Previous similar experience working for a software company is preferred.
  • Experience in addressing the Public industry and in defining a strong GTM strategy.
  • Demonstrated management and coaching skills in a sales organization.
  • Proven tracked record of negotiation at C-level.
  • Ability to manage, negotiate, and close multiple complex sales opportunities that may be international.
  • Capacity to make corporate strategy your own through measured and efficient localization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in French and English.
