About the job

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Team Lead for the Public Sector and Enterprises team in Taiwan. The successful candidate is passionate about driving business growth and nurturing a winning team. In this role, you will lead and continuously develop a high-performing enterprise sales team, responsible for achieving revenue generation plan and operational excellence through the development and implementation of sound dynamic business strategies. 

 

As a Sales Team Lead - Public Sector & Enterprises, you will:

  • Identify key areas of growth opportunities, develop and execute plans in accordance with agreed financial and business targets.
  • Capable of identifying key accounts, potential clients/alliances, developing sales and business strategies, creating, and closing complex deals to maximize revenue target and profitability.
  • Take a strong lead and hands-on approach in business development and sales; determine optimal utilization of staff and resources; improve the goals and accountabilities of sales team; effectively lead sales team to grow the business and reach revenue targets.
  • Enhance brand awareness in Public Sector and Enterprises space; develop insightful strategies in response to emerging trends and determine the most productive business plans to increase, capture market share, and expand market market preference for SAS technologies and solutions. 
  • Nurture and strengthen relationships with existing business partners while proactively developing new ones to help expand SAS footprints and accelerate business growth in certain territories. 

 

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years’ experience in software selling space with a focus on Public Sector, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Telecommunications, Retail verticals in Taiwan, including a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales management role.
  • Track record of successfully achieving sales targets individually as well as leading a team.
  • Strategic sales techniques and principles selling business applications and solutions to Fortune 500 companies and/or large governmental institutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively allocate resources to meet sales objectives.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate/government software acquisition cycles and buying influences preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English; demonstrated project leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel from time to time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience to manage, negotiate, and close multiple complex sales opportunities that may be international in scope.
