About the job

 

Oversees and manages all aspects of the administration of new and existing software contracts with customers. Provides guidance to Legal, Sales and Enterprise Negotiations staff to aid in the negotiation of contracts which i) reflect accurate licensing practices and software inventories, and ii) are manageable for both parties.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and assesses contractual documents for new software licenses which often require non-routine contract management.
  • Interacts regularly with external customers and other global staff, including Sales, Technical Support, Legal, Finance and others to provide optimum account management.
  • Establishes framework for administering non-standard contracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, company policies and customer expectations.
  • Understands and assesses implications of proper revenue recognition and other issues related to the management of assigned contracts.
  • Prepares customer invoices, and maintains associated back-up documentation, in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Updates and/or edits internal customer database to add new license observations, initiate media creation and coordinate special requirements and/or exceptions as needed.
  • Ensure paperwork is done via CLM and stored in CLM.
  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy of all data related to customer software licenses.
  • Perform Regional required ad-hoc tasks as requested.
  • Perform QAR (Quality Audit Review) promptly.
  • Ensure cancellation are done on a timely manner.
  • EUVL/ FCC – Ensure all indirect deals have EUVL/FCC before invoicing. No Finance/audit issues.
  • Track Online payments in the company’s Bank accounts coordinate with the finance department.
  • Generating invoice from the system and sending full term license keys to the customers.
  • Gathers, interprets, and uses complex data to develop actionable steps that will improve processes and optimize results.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Proactively identifies and resolves internal coordination issues to meet customer requirements within operational and legal parameters.
  • Independently analyzes unusual contractual requirements and applies knowledge of company policies and procedures to formulate feasible strategies for efficient contract management.
  • Provides guidance to other Contracts staff and assists with departmental systems testing, special projects, and/or development of departmental procedures to increase productivity and/or efficiency.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload in a multi-task environment
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to think independently and solve problems under limited direction and supervision
