About the job

The customer advisor team is looking for a system engineer to work with pre-sales of risk solutions for the insurance industry. Our team are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who wants to drive forward his/her career in an inspiring environment where actuarial, technology and pre-sales topics meet each other

As a Systems Engineer, you will:

• Works with sales staff to outline available products and leverage sales opportunities
• Builds a trusted relationship with the Account Executive and account stakeholders to provide practical guidance in the functional and technical aspects of proposed software and set proper expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Delivers standard, customized and/or strategic presentations outlining the proposed software functional capabilities, competitive advantages and business benefits.
• Develop required client relationships in order to develop client trust and gain deeper insight to client situation, needs, and internal situations, with the intent of developing mutually beneficial long-term SAS/client relationships.
• Maintains and develops relevant knowledge levels of technical and industry trends in order to identify impacts and opportunities created by these trends.
• Supports partner development & enablement, as well as partnered sales opportunities.
• Participates in product, solution and/or technical training to acquire and maintain detailed level of product knowledge of core components of SAS offerings

Required Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in insurance industry.
• Education requirement. Bachelor's degree in actuarial science.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
• Great analytical and conceptual skills combined with the ability to explain complex topics in an understandable way.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with insurance pricing/ rating modeling and IRFS 17.
• Strong knowledge in insurance industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SAS solutions/ language.
• Hands-on GLMs/GAMs modeling experience
