About the job

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Advisory Consultant to join our team in ASEAN and take responsibility for setting the strategy and driving the success of a group of Risk solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of deep industry and territory knowledge for Risk Management specifically for Financial Services, technical mastery of Risk Management and related solutions, and exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

As a consultant focusing on Risk, you will play a crucial role in driving and executing the Go To Market plans to drive demand for the SAS Risk Management solution. You will be partnering with Sales and the other team within SAS to meet the business goals and objectives. You are accountable for performing pre-sales activities, customer engagements and driving key initiative across ASEAN on key topic on Risk Management. You will be reporting to the ASEAN Risk Management leader. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domain Strategy: Develop and execute the Go To Market strategy for solution area ensuring alignment to industry demands.  Identify key growth opportunities, develop value-driven solutions, and establish competitive differentiators.
  • Pipeline Generation: Take ownership of pipeline generation and execution processes, developing innovative strategies to create a robust pipeline that covers diverse opportunities and achieves sales goals.
  • Sales and Marketing Activities: Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and bid management teams to develop compelling value propositions, craft persuasive messaging, and execute high-quality RFI/RFP responses and presentations.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their needs and providing innovative solutions that drive business value. Engage with C-level executives and deliver impactful presentations and demonstrations.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Mastery: Demonstrated technical expertise and knowledge of Risk offerings, with a focus in Risk Modelling, Credit Decisioning; other risk related areas are a plus.
  • Value Selling: Expertise in uncovering customer needs, crafting value propositions, and demonstrating Return on Investment for solutions.
  • Solutioning: Strong ability to design and configure solutions that address customer challenges and drive business outcomes.
  • Competitive Insights: Knowledge of competitor offerings, strengths, and weaknesses, and the ability to position your solutions favourably in the market.
  • Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Challenger Mindset: Ability to provoke & challenge customers' thinking, provide new perspectives, and drive conversations focused on business outcomes.
  • Industry and Territory Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Banking industry in the ASEAN market, including key players, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Innovation: A forward-thinking mindset and a track record of driving innovation and developing new solutions to address customer challenges.
  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a customer-facing role in a pre-sales capacity, preferably in the software or technology industry.
