About the job

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solutions and Platform Architect to join our Customer Advisory team. In this regional capacity, you will play a critical role in setting the technical strategy and driving business growth across various SAS platform and solution offerings in Greater China.

As a Solutions & Platform Architect, you will:

• Serve as the technical owner for pre-sales Proof of Concept/Value; lead the design and delivery of complex solution architectures, define POC/V objectives and critical success factors for implementation.
• Translate technical concepts to SAS applications and user needs and provide support to the technical progress of ongoing services projects. 
• Specialize in SAS technology core and with knowledge of dependent technologies, you will contribute to resolving specific technical challenges.
• Work with sales teams to maximize revenue opportunities, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction when helping drive customer’s cloud transformation and modernization.
• Enable frontline team as well as partner and client resources on technical concepts. 

Required Qualifications:

• Typically requires 8+ years’ experience in technical sales, technical support, consulting, systems engineering, or related areas with exposure to cloud, data and analytics technologies.
• Experience of designing and implementing complex solution architectures.
• Demonstrated expertise in applications of Kubernetes including relevant professional certifications, such as CKA/CKS/CKAD.
• Strong knowledge on Big Data platform/ distributed database and mainstream Linux operating systems.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluency in Cantonese/ Mandarin and English is desireable. 
• Leadership skills to oversee the technical aspects of projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams and ability to assist with business development and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to travel across Greater China as per business request.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges in SAS implementations. 
• Professional certifications related to SAS, Big Data, Cloud.
