Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains high quality of test automation using modern development techniques and provides key data points to support metrics-based decision making.
• Applies automated tests at every layer of the Risk Modeling application -  API , UI and Backend.
• Creates and executes high quality test cases to ensure maximum test coverage
• Produces and analyzes metrics that illustrate the quality of applications and develop insight that drives the direction of quality engineering.
• Works with team to promptly triage test failures with precision and accuracy, maintaining the health of the build pipeline.
• Works collaboratively with development, product, operations, and support peers to encourage quality, as a key design element in all work efforts.
• Debug complex multi-tiered software applications; develop creative solutions to complex technical problems.
• Protects users from escaped defects, participate in support escalations, and value Customer Experience (CX) above all.
• Understands the role of deployment, migration, security, and performance in the continuous delivery lifecycle.

Technical Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in automating enterprise applications.
• Proficient in automating tests related to complex business flows.
• Good understanding of testing concepts including working in an agile environment.
• Proficient in atleast one programming language – Python preferred
• Hands on experience of testing & automating Micro services, REST APIs, middle-tier, etc.
• Hands-on experience of developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Robot or Python.
• Working experience in at least one public cloud interface
• Knowledge of at least one RDBMS
• Experience on Windows as well as UNIX.

Preferred:

• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Understanding of JavaScript / CSS.
• Knowledge of scripting language such as Shell Scripts.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, Gradle preferred.
• Manual test case/test scenario development & execution experience.
