About the job

The Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Specialist to align strategic marketing plans around a key initiative, product line, business unit, and/or beacon account with SAS’s overall sales and marketing strategy. You’ll develop and execute integrated campaigns to generate demand, build awareness and/or increase renewals. You will work with Sales Leadership, Account Executives, Solution Specialists and Marketing colleagues to develop a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) plan that includes a variety of content, events, email, online advertising, social media, account based marketing (ABM), and innovative campaign approaches.

 

As a Marketing Associate, you will:

  • Lead and deliver marketing efforts designed to generate and accelerate revenue, increase renewals, or build awareness through an integrated go-to-market plan aligned with the initiative, product line, business unit, and/or target account.
  • Develop integrated marketing campaigns that comprise lead generation, lead acceleration, awareness, and retention elements strategically planned around the stages of the customer journey.
  • Leverage and amplify corporate marketing initiatives to be regionally relevant, ensuring the right message is delivered to the target audience at the regional level.
  • Collaborate with an extended team of channel specialists, content marketers, subject matter experts, partners and other constituents to define the appropriate marketing channels and strategies associated with the goals of the go-to-market plan.
  • Solicit input and feedback through direct interaction with customers or partners for a greater customer focus.
  • Manage operations and logistics of marketing activities, events, and/or campaigns in accordance with the go-to-market plan.
  • Communicate at all levels of the organization and act as a trusted advisor to sales management, viewed as a valuable marketing partner.
  • Measure and reacte to success metrics, performing actionable analysis, and making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes and ROI.
  • Proactively contribute to global peer groups, including sharing best practices and working cross-functionally to accomplish continuous improvement and increased sharing and learning.

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • At least 2 years of experience in planning and running B2B Demand Generation programs, preferably within IT/software.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or related discipline
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English.
  • Good knowledge of marketing concepts, including content, digital, social, and strong business-to-business acumen.

  • Result-oriented with a positive drive and attitude towards success.

  • Good self-awareness and sense of responsibility and accountability.

  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences.

  • Shows analytical abilities and data-driven decision-making.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Good organizational, project management, and executional skills
