About the job

Are you ready to take the reins of a high-performing sales team in a market brimming with opportunity? As the Head of Sales for Switzerland, you’ll lead our Account Executives, champion our brand, and act as the face of SAS Switzerland. This role isn’t just about hitting numbers—it’s about inspiring your team, building relationships, and making an impact that resonates with customers, partners, and industry leaders.

 

As the Head of Sales, you will:

 

  • Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a team of Account Executives, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets in Switzerland.
  • Be the Face of SAS Switzerland: Represent our organization at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities, embodying our brand values and vision.
  • Collaborate Across Geographies: Leverage matrix collaboration with internal support functions such as Customer Success, Customer Advisory, and Professional Services to deliver seamless customer experiences and maximize outcomes. 
  • Strategic Partnering: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including enterprise customers and partners.
  • Innovate and Adapt: Stay ahead of market trends, customer needs, and competitive movements to position SAS as the analytics provider of choice. 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, within the technology or software industry. 

  • A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets with enterprise-level customers. 

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating diverse sales teams. 

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both English and German (French is a plus). 

  • Deep understanding of the Swiss market, its industries, and business culture. 

  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data analytics, AI, or SaaS solutions. 

  • Established network within Switzerland’s enterprise sector. 

  • Proven ability to represent an organization in high-profile engagements.
