Summary 

The SAS Account Executives are the driving force responsible for sales of SAS software products, solutions and services. This role will focus on the Public Sector accounts. In this highly customer facing position you will build and establish new relationships with prospective customers as well as managing existing relationships within key accounts.

You will be responsible for:

  • Meticulous Account and opportunities planning and updates 
  • Generating pipelines & sales of SAS software products, solutions and services
  • Qualifying new sales opportunities
  • Networking and establishing new relationships
  • Building upon existing accounts
  • Forecasting time to close business
  • Managing sales pipelines in line with targets
  • Collaborating with other account executives, presales consultants and technical consultants during a sales cycle
  • Preparing quotations, proposals and set time schedules which lead to closure of deals
  • Developing an understanding of company pricing and procedures
  • General administrative duties required in the role 

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, MIS, or other relevant discipline.
  • 8 years of experience in the sales of software solutions
  • Proven sales experience in the Public Sector industry
  • Understands the importance of quarterly forecasting with strong business acumen and subject matter expertise or interest in public security, smart nations and analytics
  • MBA and with ability to speak to C level will be a big plus
  • Networks and establishes contacts in key areas
  • Adapts sales approach to fit the audience
  • Drives activity and motivates the people around them
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Knowledge of the Singapore public sectors policy is desirable
  • SAS knowledge is also highly regarded
