About the job
The team is looking for an energizing Account Executive to drive new business and expand SAS’s footprint in the banking and insurance sectors. The role focuses on selling advanced Analytics, AI, and automation solutions, with a strong emphasis on risk management, fraud prevention, and customer intelligence. The AE will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with pre-sales, consulting, and strategic alliance teams to develop opportunities and accelerate business growth
As an Account Executive, you will:
- Business Development & Growth: Identify and develop new sales opportunities, expanding SAS’s presence in the financial and insurance industries
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
- Solution Consulting: Understand customer needs and position SAS solutions as essential for regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, fraud detection, and personalized customer engagement.
- Sales Cycle Management: Strategically manage the sales pipeline, leveraging consultative sales methodologies and internal tools (CRM, BASE, Orion).
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with pre-sales, data engineering, consulting, and marketing teams to design high-value proposals.
- Proposal & Negotiation Management: Develop business cases, craft proposals, and lead complex negotiations aligned with customer needs.
- Post-Sales Engagement: Ensure solution adoption and customer success while identifying new upsell and expansion opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in complex software sales, analytics solutions, or technology sales. Prior experience in banking and insurance is highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, or related fields. An MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of analytics, AI, machine learning, risk management, and fraud prevention. Familiarity with cloud solutions and digital transformation is a plus.
- Consultative Selling Approach: Ability to understand business challenges and propose data-driven strategic solutions.
- Strategic & Collaborative Mindset: Strong analytical skills, negotiation capabilities, and autonomy to drive business initiatives within cross-functional teams.
- Travel Availability: Required for client meetings and strategic events.
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling software solutions to large banks, insurers, or fintechs
- Knowledge of financial regulations (e.g., Central Bank of Brazil, SUSEP, LGPD)
- Familiarity with consultative sales methodologies (e.g., Solution Selling, SPIN, Challenger Sales).
