About the job  

We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our sales organization based in France (Paris, La Défense). This role will have you working on some of our most strategic clients within the Life Sciences industry supporting Global Account Executives while also managing your own portfolio of accounts.

 

Your core responsibilities will include driving new business development, overseeing global accounts, and shaping the strategic vision for your territory by leveraging our industry-leading Life Sciences portfolio. The role also offers exciting opportunities for European travel to engage with clients and strengthen partnerships.

 

As an Account Executive, you will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, establish yourself as a trusted advisor, lead strategic initiatives, and bring extensive domain knowledge and SAS expertise to key sales opportunities.

 

As an Account Executive Life Sciences, you will  

  • Develop and execute a strategic, multi-year account plan to surpass customer goals and SAS revenue targets.
  • Build trusted, multi-level relationships, focusing on Executive and C-Level connections.
  • Inspire and align your matrix team to deliver exceptional outcomes and maximize performance.
  • Drive new Software and Cloud revenue through strategic insights, transformational sales, and industry expertise.
  • Collaborate with Alliance Partners to unlock opportunities and strengthen SAS’s position.
  • Manage high-risk escalation issues for customers at SAS and drive them to closure, balancing SAS and customer interests.
  • Align post-sales teams with account strategies, streamlining communication and addressing challenges.
  • Oversee successful software implementations in partnership with Consulting.
  • Work with Customer Success to boost SAS usage and identify new value-driving use cases.

 

Required qualifications

  • Experience in driving complex sales processes and long-term sales cycles, ideally in the Life Sciences sector.
  • Experience in engaging with both, IT stakeholders and business operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in account mapping and in navigating in complex ecosystem.
  • Ability to orchestrate and motivate a matrix team, to drive and secure revenue growth.
  • Fluent in French and English.
