As a Technical Consultant Intern in the Risk Research & Quantitative Solutions team, you’ll support the development of innovative analytics, AI, and model risk management solutions used by leading organizations. You’ll collaborate with experienced consultants, product managers, sales teams, and R&D to understand market needs, help shape solution direction, and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.

This internship is a chance to learn how industry experts work with customers, translate business challenges into analytical solutions, and support the go-to-market strategy for SAS technologies.

As an intern, you might:

• Assist in preparing sales materials, presentations, and demos used in customer meetings.
• Contribute to use cases and proof-of-concept work by gathering information and supporting senior consultants.
• Help research industry trends, emerging risks, and competitive developments to support our solution strategy.
• Support the team during customer engagements, including discovery sessions, preparation of best-practice materials, and documentation.
• Participate in thought leadership activities such as drafting content for blogs, summaries, or internal knowledge documents.
• Help maintain relationships with internal teams (sales, product management, marketing) by supporting coordination and follow-up activities.
• Assist with preparing materials for training sessions, workshops, or events for sales and partner teams.
• Contribute to gathering market and customer insights that help guide future solution development.

Required Qualifications  

• Degree Type: Bachelor’s, Master’s
• You are a recent graduate, final year student or a Master's student in majors including Risk Management, Business Management, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics or equivalent.  
• You've got programing experience in one or more of the following languages: SAS, SQL, Python.
• You are interested in risk management, quantitative modeling, AI/ML, or financial analytics.
• You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do. 
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal. 
• You’re interested in the future of Analytics and AI and embrace technology.  

Location

Hybrid or Remote in Glasgow, Dublin, Marlow or London.
