We’ll help you grow professionally, find (or further) your passion, and make memorable connections that last beyond the program!    

 

As part of our Marketing & Communications Team, you will contribute to initiatives that combine creative and strategic work to strengthen brand awareness, generate demand, and engage customers and employees. You’ll support integrated campaigns, create content for events, email and social media, and help plan and execute communication activities that align with corporate goals and marketing programs for our software products and services. Working closely with diverse internal and external stakeholders—including SAS experts, partners, and agencies—you’ll gain hands-on experience in a global environment. In addition, you’ll join our EMEA and APAC-wide internship program, CareerStart@SAS, which offers training to develop your presentation, communication, and professional skills.

 

 

As an intern, you might:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of campaigns as part of the Marketing plan, looking for innovative ways to target SAS audience, in which digital activation plays a key role.
  • Participate and support all Marketing activities, from content selection, digital interaction and communication to event logistics and operations.
  • Proactively provide recommendations to solve complex business problems. We love new ideas and new ways to address the Analytics market.
  • Collaborate across the region, sharing best practices and learning from successful experiences across the globe.
  • Assists in the development of integrated marketing campaigns, including lead generation, awareness, engagement, and retention initiatives, while learning how these map to different stages of the customer journey.

     

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams across different departments and regions to gather input, share updates, and support the alignment of the go-to-market plan.

  • Create internal and external communications, including magazines, articles, news releases, brochures, product descriptions, announcements, ads, direct mail, newsletters, scripts, digital communications (video, audio, social media, web content, etc.) and other communication materials. Integrates both new and traditional media approaches to stay current with communication trends and target audiences. May also create or direct the creation of visual communications such as info graphics, photographs and videos.

  • Develop and maintain relationships and engagement with relevant constituents, which may include external media, influencers, employees, partners, customers and community members in order to deliver and publish key company messages and engage in dialogue.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree Type: Bachelor’s or Master’s.
  • Targeted majors: Communications, (Digital) Marketing, or related fields.
  • You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program.
  • Full proficiency in English and German.
  • Takes ownership of responsibilities; proven track record of taking initiative and going above and beyond.
  • Interested in the future of data, AI and technology.
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.

 

Location 

Hybrid workplace model, combining office and remote working. We do have a great offices in Heidelberg where you can work from which creates an inspiring working atmosphere.
