About the job

The Global Experience Team is seeking an execution-driven Testing Automation Expert (Localization) to modernize localization testing by replacing manual workflows with scalable automation and AI-assisted solutions. You will design and maintain automation frameworks that address multi-locale UI coverage, frequent UI/content changes, and locale-specific behavior, integrating tests into CI/CD to catch localization regressions early.

As a Testing Automation Expert (Localization):

• Build and evolve a scalable, maintainable test automation framework for localization scenarios (multi-locale, frequent UI/content changes).
• Automate localization regression testing (rendering/truncation, layout issues from text expansion, locale-sensitive behavior) and integrate checks such as locale switching and format validation.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with reliable execution and clear reporting.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to speed up test creation, debugging, and analysis; apply a human-in-the-loop approach where needed for linguistic/cultural accuracy.
• Define standards and best practices; collaborate with and coach testers to reduce manual effort while improving coverage and consistency.

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in a programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
• Hands-on experience with UI/functional automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium).
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with localization tooling/processes (e.g., TMS such as Smartling) and localization/i18n testing concepts.
• Experience using AI-powered tools to support QA workflows; ability to work effectively with prompts to support test creation and analysis.
• Ability to work across time zones (role noted as based in Spain).
