About the job

The Customer Advisory Team is seeking an experienced presales professional to act as a trusted advisor in the Banking Risk domain to leading banks in Taiwan and Hong Kong. In this role, you will partner with sales team and senior client stakeholders to shape financial risk strategies, bringing the SAS Risk Management solution portfolio to life through value-driven engagements and solution storytelling. You will play a key role in influencing deal strategy, advancing opportunities, and driving business growth across the region.

 

As a Sr Business Solutions Manager, you will:

 

  • Partner with sales to identify, shape, and advance sales opportunities. Identify customer business needs and align solutions to business outcomes.
  • Strategize with sales team on objectives of customer meetings, understand how this activity relates to overall sales plan and provide functional leadership for sales opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on risk management strategies, and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across banking organisations.
  • Deliver impactful, customized presentations and product demonstrations. Clearly articulate business value, competitive differentiation, and ROI
  • Plan and implement, in partnership with sales, customer retention and post-sale strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support partner development and enablement, as well as partnered sales opportunities.
  • Develop familiarity with company sales initiatives, product positioning, pricing, proposals, and models.
  • Continuously build expertise across technical capabilities and industry developments.
  • Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.

Required qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience including a minimum of 5 years’ working in presales, consulting, or solutions sales roles in a software company or consulting environment with a focus on Banking Risk domain.
  • Solid understanding of credit risk, including ECL / IFRS 9, Basel regulations, and Model Risk Management (MRM); with working knowledge of Asset and Liability Management (ALM), liquidity risk, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), and stress testing in banking.

  • Excellent ability to bridge business needs with technical solution.
  • Ability to develop prototypes and deliver product demonstrations.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills with fluency in English and Chinese languages.
  • Proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders and multi-cultural teams.
  • Bachelor or above, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or other quantitative field related to area of assignment. Professional certification related to area of assignment is preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
