Implementation Project Manager

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Project Manager to lead customer-facing software implementation projects. The successful candidate will manage project delivery, customer relationships, project governance, and financial performance while ensuring successful project outcomes and high customer satisfaction. Implementation PM is responsible for all aspects of project management including direction, planning, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of software implementation projects while ensuring alignment with SAS strategy, customer expectations, and business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Leads customer-facing software implementation projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develops and maintains project plans, schedules, and delivery milestones.
• Manages project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Serves as the primary contact for customers and key stakeholders.
• Provides project governance, progress reporting, and status communications.
• Coordinates project resources, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
• Monitors project budgets, forecasts, and overall financial performance.
• Ensures project deliverables meet quality, schedule, and customer expectations.
• Supports post-implementation activities and transition to support teams.
• Contributes to proposal development and other pre-sales activities as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing software implementation, technology, or enterprise application projects.
• Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders.
• Understanding of software implementation and delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in project governance, risk management, and project financial oversight.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification.
• Experience within the Financial Services industry, including Banking or Insurance.
• Experience working in a client-vendor/client-supplier environment.
• Understanding of Analytics, AI, Fraud, or Risk solutions.
• Experience supporting proposal development or business development activities.
• Experience supporting post-implementation, maintenance, or managed services environments.
• Hindi language skills are welcome but not required.
