Your next challenge is right here. SAS Institute is looking for a Senior Account Executive to help us drive our sales to the healthcare sector in the Nordics.

 

New medicines, treatments, and technologies, an aging population, changes in organization, and many other trends contribute to increased costs and complexity in the healthcare system. As the leader in analytics, SAS Institute is well-placed to assist in the evolution of smarter solutions, and increased use of data in the healthcare system.

 

If you want to help our clients to make smarter decisions that improve hospital patient treatments, reduce wrongly prescribed medication, or provide better opportunities for preventive medicine, you should join SAS Institute as an Account Executive. You will be responsible for selling software solutions to existing and potential new customers within the healthcare industry.

 

The role entails:

  • Developing a sales strategy for your territory and managing your sales pipeline
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers in order to reach your goals
  • Identifying sales opportunities and acting on them
  • Being the point of contact during the customer lifecycle including the implementation phase to ensure client satisfaction
  • Representing SAS at customer events, seminars and similar market initiatives

 

Your knowledge and skills:

  • Considerable experience within solution selling and value based software sale
  • Capable to work in a systematic manner and follow sales processes eg. Proactive Selling
  • Understanding of the healthcare industry
  • Experience in contract negotiations regarding solution/IT sales ideally in public procurement processes
