SAS Analytics delivers great value to our customers. It’s the job of the SAS Business Value team to show how.
Your role will be to align SAS Solutions & Value Propositions with the biggest challenges and opportunities our customers face, working with them to identify the potential Business Value they can achieve from an investment in SAS.
You will be joining a team of diverse & talented professionals across North and Western Europe. Members of the team come from different backgrounds: pre-sales professionals, accountants, management consultants, project managers and process improvement specialists. You will have the skills to fit into this team, and the ambition to take the team forward in new directions.
You will be working with our largest, most strategic customers: for example Banks, Insurance companies, large Retailers & Manufacturers, big Government departments. You will cover the core solution areas where SAS operates including Risk Management & Regulation, Fraud and Financial Crime, Customer Insight; and specific industry value propositions like Demand Forecasting & Retail Solutions.
Our team comes from very different backgrounds but every member has some things in common: the consulting skills to engage the customer, ask the right question and present a compelling argument; the management skills to drive forward the engagement and coordinate the SAS and customer team; the commercial skills to work within and alongside a sales team. Don’t worry if you’re not the ‘finished article’: if you have the right drive and attitude, we can teach you the rest.
You will be aligned to a specific group of Sales Managers and Account Executives. Your role will be to engage in the key opportunities they have and to evangelize the benefits that Business Value can bring to their teams. You will have the support of a clear and defined methodology & toolset, a dedicated analyst team to undertake Customer & Industry research, and a team across the region managing & sharing knowledge & experience.
You will join a sub-team based in Western Europe. You will be expected to travel to SAS and Customer offices in this region. There will also be limited travel to other parts of North & Western Europe.
SAS sits at the heart of one of the hottest spaces in the market – Advanced Analytics, IOT, Big Data, Machine Learning. Business Value is a strategic initiative for SAS. The N EMEA team was formed at the start of 2017. As it grows and develops there will be opportunities for individuals to take on additional responsibility. The team will shape its own future, and play a role in shaping the future of SAS.
