Senior Account Executive – Healthcare

The healthcare sector needs new solutions. How do we improve people’s health? How can we treat more patients with less resources? How do the hospital leadership teams solve their biggest challenges? Data driven management can solve many of these challenges. There is already a vast amount of data available that can be used to strengthen the healthcare services.


Do you want to contribute to improving the healthcare sector by providing hospitals with advanced analytics software that can decrease their costs and enable better treatment for patients? SAS Institute is looking for a Senior Account Executive - Healthcare, to sell their best-in-class software tools for Finnish healthcare sector.


As Senior Account Executive you will be responsible for acquiring new customers and building long-lasting customer relationships in Sweden. You will be part of the Nordic team and report to the Nordic Director of Sales – Head of Healthcare. You also collaborate with Nordic pre-sales team to identify opportunities, articulate business and technical value for the customers.

Your primary duties include

  • Proactively meeting the customers and driving the structured sales process forward
  • Continuously working on the pipeline of potential customer cases
  • Collaborating with the account and pre-sales teams and stay on track on the big picture
  • Building relationships to hospitals, doctors and other stakeholders


You are passionate about having an impact to the healthcare sector and understand the pain points of the field. You have an interest towards analytics and IT solutions, and have experience on selling software. Additionally, you have a customer oriented mindset, and desire to work in a multinational environment.


The role involves some travelling mainly in Sweden and occasionally also in the Nordic Countrie


Required skills & experience


SAS is looking for a person that has

  • Strong experience on selling software
  • Preferably industry knowledge and passion for the Healthcare sector
  • Preferably knowledge of analytical software tools
  • Good communication and influencing skills
  • Excellent Swedish and English skills
