Senior Account Executive (Banking)


SAS Institute is currently seeking a Senior Account Executive for Banking, who can work closely with and develop our financial clients to optimize their business. If you have the drive and the domain expertise to grow our business, then look no further.


You will be responsible for SAS Institute’s value proposition with your customers, manage strategic and tactical governance, co-operate closely with customers to improve and optimize current business as well as identifying and prioritizing new opportunities.

Your requirements and desired skills

We are currently looking for individuals who have experience within Financial Services specifically the Banking Markets. Ideal applicants will be enthusiastic about helping our customers cope with demanding challenges and turn them into mutually rewarding opportunities. You must be highly motivated, a self-starter, articulate and able to contribute to the transformation of projects within the financial services industry.



  • In depth knowledge of the banking or insurance sector either from the industry or from serving as an advisor, consultant, or sales professional.
  • Clear understanding of the regulatory issues, challenges, and problems and an eye for assisting in optimization, improvement, and digital business transformation.
  • Insight into the mechanics of how banks and insurance organizations operate, manage change, and complex projects from procurement to delivery and implementation.
  • Ability to identify customers' needs and confidence to challenge when required.
  • You must be a senior caliber individual who can build trust and rapport.
  • Demonstrable understanding of how technology and analytics will transform the financial services industry.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills combining Danish and English.
  • Result oriented with a positive drive and attitude towards success.
  • Excellent social interaction skills.
  • Disciplined, hardworking, positive minded, and motivated.
  • Great self-awareness, sense of responsibility, and accountability.
