Your work area will be analysis and development of IT solutions based on SAS software and adjusted to customer needs.

 

You will become involved in several phases of the sales and implementation process, where customer dialogue is essential and where you will be challenged in the daily consulting of our customers.

 

You are motivated working with the positioning and consulting of customers and being part of the implementation of IT solutions. You will be working with some of the largest Danish companies and you will have the opportunity to work with projects in other countries.

 

Your starting point is your professional profile as OR specialist and you will, among other things, work with the following assignments:

  • Assist to identify and present new possibilities for our customers when we solve their business problems.
  • Transform the SAS software possibilities to cover and meet relevant customer business processes.
  • Participate in the implementation projects of SAS software solutions for our customers being a professional key competency.
  • Work broadly with the SAS system to integrate data, build reports and carry out analyses in a way that fits into the customer businesses and IT infrastructure.
  • To be in a close dialogue with the customers concerning daily delivery and future focus areas and thereby contributing actively to build a strong SAS pipeline within this area.

You will become part of a strong consultant business and be part of our Professional Services division consisting of approximately 186 consultants across the Nordic countries. Our consultants have strong Data Management and Analytics competences and you will have the opportunity to use your consultant colleagues as a sparring partner.

 

Qualifications

 

It is important that you are an outgoing and business-focused person, that you possess strong analytical competences, and that you possess technical interest. We also emphasize that you are willing to give existing and new customers a terrific service and consulting. You are willing to learn new things and you are capable of working both independently and goal-oriented and be part of a strong team.

  • You have a relevant advanced education (e.g. MSc in Engineering, MSc. in Economics & Business Administration, cand.merc.dat, Master of Science, MSc econ., computer scientist, engineer or the like) with operational research as a specially studied subject.
  • You have experience with one or more programming languages, maybe you know SAS programming, however it is not a demand.
  • You have a thorough IT knowledge, you have a business sense, and you are interested in how IT and analysis can solve business problems.
  • You have an analytical flair and you would like to work with operational analytic disciplines including forecasting, warehouse optimization, mathematical optimization and simulation.
  • You are goal-oriented, trustworthy, engaged in your work and you have the ability to present your ideas both internally and to our customers.

We are always interested in hiring people with a strong professional background, industry experienced and with experience from using SAS software. However, for this particular job opening we search broadly and we encourage newly educated or candidates with limited experience, but the right motivation, to apply for the job.

 

The position can be in either in our Skanderborg or our Copenhagen office. There will be travel activity within the Nordic countries, from 10 to 50 travel days depending on the candidate’s work life balance.
