The UK&I Risk lead will be responsible for new software revenue target in the UK&I and work as an integral part of the North EMEA Risk Solution Team (UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Russia).

 

The duties include delivering global key value propositions like IFRS9, Regulatory Reporting, Stresstesting, SII, IFRS17 and others to the UK&I Market but also include identifying regional and local key value propositions as well as aligning and prioritizing them with the target segments defined by the regional sales management team in the UK&I

 

In this role you oversee and directly engage in the demand generation and execution towards the UK&I risk sales target.

 

You act as a domain leader for the UK&I Risk Practice in order to provide presales support and advisory services to SAS customers and prospects on our product and solution portfolio leading to new software revenue as well as higher satisfaction of existing SAS customers.

 

The UK&I Risk lead reports into the leadership team of the North EMEA Risk Director, but a strong alignment to the UK&I Management team and the UK&I business plan is required.

 

Some of responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing an annual aligned UK&I Risk business plan in order to prioritize value propositions and resources and ensure that the region maximizes our revenue potential within the Risk Intelligence domain area
  • Providing overall leadership on the prioritized Risk value propositions and business development projects; coordinates with other business units & geographies to share best practices and approaches
  • Assisting and identifying key accounts, existing and emerging propositions to determine strategies that maximize revenue
  • Working with Nordics/EMEA peers to reinforce best practices, with heavy emphasis on sales methodologies and consistency across the teams. Working with sales management to fully qualify and manage the delivery of pre-sales Proof of Concept/Value engagements
  • Leading key Risk intelligence deliverables throughout customer engagements (e.g. solution/domain enablement, discovery, value quantification, best practices) in support of pre and post sales activities. Preparing and delivering presentations and demonstrations that articulate a solution capability and proposition
  • Providing domain expertise and presales support for Risk intelligence propositions. 
  • Determining best utilization of staff and resources to achieve sales goals.
  • Ensuring pre-sales team participation in activities that provide a strong transition to post-sales process and customer adoption. 

Do you qualify?

  • Excellent understanding of the Risk technology landscape and emerging trends with in Risk Intelligence
  • Significant exposure to one or more of the relevant vertical domains: banking, insurance or public sector
  • Established network within the UK&I Risk Intelligence landscape – clients, partners and vendors
  • Public speaking experience
  • Ability to develop clear business direction and identify emerging opportunity areas
  • Ability to lead and motivate a regional team and develop creative solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to travel
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and practices
