The SAS Global Sales Academy program provides early career employees with the opportunity to enhance the knowledge acquired in school and develop necessary skills to be a successful contributor in a field sales function at SAS. The Global Sales Academy was created to build a global talent pipeline of the next generation of sales leaders in SAS offices around the world. The academy is comprised of 19 weeks of paid comprehensive training at our global headquarters in Cary, NC including a blended approach of instructor-led classroom training, self-directed e-learning, self-study materials, interactive role plays, case studies, and role-specific scenarios. Upon completion of the training program, academy hires will have the necessary tools to be successful in their role.

 

The Academy Curriculum includes:

- Sales & Technology Fundamentals

- Prospecting

- Consultative Selling

- Objection Handling

- Negotiation Techniques

- Business case development

- Social Selling

- Territory & Account Planning

- On the job field rotation

 

Upon completion of training, you will join your team in one of our US regional sales offices. Must be willing to relocate. This will be determined throughout the interview process and at the point of hire. 

 

General Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Communications, Management Information Systems, Finance

- Internship or Experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development, etc

- Strong communication & presentation skills

- Minimum GPA of 3.0 

- Student leadership, involvement, volunteerism, etc. 

- Passion for sales and relationship building  

 

Preferred Requirements:

- 0-3 years of professional experience 

- Technical/Professional Sales Experience

- Understanding of technology and/or analytics
