About the job
The Pre-Sales team is looking for a System Engineer to provide technical assistance for software pre-sale and post-sale activities utilizing knowledge of industry or industry segment processes and challenges. Collaborates with account team to identify opportunities, articulate business and technical value, prepares and presents software demonstrations.
As a System Engineer, you will:
- Work with sales staff to outline available products and leverage sales opportunities. Support tender process within Customer Advisory responsibilities.
- Deliver standard, customized and/or strategic presentations outlining the proposed software functional capabilities, competitive advantages and business benefits.
- Lead or cooperate on business and/or technical workshops, POCs or MVPs.
- Conduct discovery meetings to collect, clarify and document technical and business requirements during the sales cycle.
- Provide demonstration and business development support at vendor-sponsored events, trade shows, and user group meetings.
Additional Responsibilities
- Apply intermediate to advanced knowledge of SAS products and solutions in sales opportunities.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of company sales initiatives, product positioning, pricing, proposals, and models.
- Maintain and works toward advanced knowledge and training in SAS System tools and open-source or third-party software (if needed and considered as part of broad SAS analytical environment)
- Show leadership in a chosen technology area or grouping.

Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in technical sales, technical support, information systems, or a related area of expertise
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Computer Science, or other quantitative field related to area of assignment
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Programming proficiency as required for prototype development and product demonstrations.
- Analytical skills.
- Fluent Polish/English
- Travel as business requirements dictate.
- An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced to Advanced knowledge of SAS System tools.
- Ability to relate technical concepts to SAS applications and user needs.
