Nice to meet you!

We’re the leader in analytics. Through our software and services, we inspire customers around the world to transform data into intelligence – and questions into answers.

We’re also a debt-free multi-billion-dollar organization on our path to IPO-readiness. If you’re looking for a dynamic, fulfilling internship coupled with flexibility and world-class employee experience, you’ll find it here.

What you’ll do

Looking for *that* internship? The game-changing one that’ll help you learn, grow, and chart your path forward? You’ll find it at SAS. Our interns aren’t coffee runners – they do real, meaningful work. Our award-winning internship program is focused on development, culture, and community. We’ll help you grow professionally, find (or further) your passion, and make memorable connections.

Developing talented people at the beginning of their careers is part of our core ethos. We are continually bringing new talent into our organization. Every year, SAS R&D in Scotland selects a number of interns to work with us for 10-12 weeks through summer.

We are looking for interns for various roles:

  • Software Development
  • Testing and Automation

We see the internship program as an invaluable source of bright new talent – successful internships often result in job offers to return full-time after graduation.

As an intern, you will work on real releases for real customers under Agile and CI/CD methodologies, experiencing every part of the development process. You will be integrated into a product team from Day 1, allowing you to learn from the highest calibre of talented and experienced R&D staff.

You can expect to:

  • Design and implement new features.
  • Work with product management, UX and UI designers to define and design new features
  • Collaborate with development teams to draft technical specifications and designs
  • Implement new product features
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Improve testing automation and integration into our testing and delivery pipeline

Make a real difference – and get paid while doing it!
