About the job
We are seeking an experienced leader for our diverse team of Customer Advisory (CA) consultants, focused on Banking and Financial Services customers across Australia and New Zealand.
What you’ll do
- Set local strategy and ensure strategic alignment to relevant sales leadership
- Co-own pipeline generation and execution process with sales leadership to provide sufficient pipeline cover and diversity to deliver a robust business and achieve sales goals
- Operate as a lead customer advisor for major financial institutions and orchestrate other pre-sales team members to support activities for these customers.
- Ensure adoption of leading practices from regional forums and represent the local geo in those forums
- Provide a frontline market presence to evangelise SAS capabilities for Banking and Financial services, amplifying messages and representing the local geo in regional forums, ensuring the adoption of leading practices from those forums.
- Ensure the appropriate skills are available and are utilized effectively within the broader matrixed CA team to support sales goals
What you’ll bring
- Background in pre-sales/ customer advisory, consulting roles in a sales environment
- Experience in pipeline management and sales goal attainment
- Knowledge of best practice for demonstrations and presentations to different stakeholders
- Awareness of APRA and RBNZ prudential standards and guidelines for regulated entities
- Strong technical, business facilitation and communication skills in English language although other languages are a benefit.
- Ability to understand and articulate user business requirements to technical teams.
- Ability to influence and recommend business requirements to desired outcome.
- Excellent problem solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative working style with the ability to work cross-functionally and build effective relationships
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team; experience in multiplying the efforts of a team and fostering an environment of creativity and innovation
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Actuarial, Computer Science/Engineering or other quantitative field.
- Ability to travel interstate and international when required.
